Come join us at the Ambassador Hotel - Hsinchu Hsinchu, Taiwan June 8-9, 2009 On-site registration available Monday morning! |
The LED industry is a growth industry, and when general world markets slow down, the biggest winners in the growth industries know that you take the opportunity to push forward while incumbent technologies are forced to pull back. For 2009, Blue will focus on the material, epitaxial and device technology market as it relates to the LED industry. And to allow you to maximize your time and travel efficiency, Blue has been moved to early June to mark the beginning of Taiwan's "Photonic Festival" that happens later the same week. How better to capitalize on the current world economy than to begin with the market information and key executive networking that sets that stage for a productive week in Taiwan?
This year's agenda is constantly being updated - be sure to see what's new

| At Blue 2004, Cree President & CEO, Chuck Swoboda, delivered a powerful keynote talk co-authored by Mr. Hiller that correctly predicted the Taiwan LED industry consolidation, and emphasized the importance of innovative approaches, both to add value, as well as to position the industry for success in the applications that "we haven't even imagined yet". 5 years later, we have invited Cree's Norbert Hiller to share a perspective on how the industry has done in meeting its goals for the last 5 years, and to offer thoughts on the expectations for the next 5 and beyond. | |||||

The 2008 event was our 6th installment in this top-quality event. In it, we stepped back to the "epi-center" of the world's LED industry, focusing on the material, epitaxial and device technology market as it relates to the LED industry. That is where we'll stay for 2009 to provide you the information that you need to succeed in uncertain economic times. Attendees will hear from the LED suppliers' vertical market, from leading manufacturers and developers of advanced materials and processes, to device technology and fabrication. As always a primary goal of the event was to continue to promote the underlying technology that is critical to the rapid deployment, acceptance, and mainstream market adoption of solid state semiconductor light emitting technologies and devices. Take a look back at the power-packed Blue 2008 agenda, then talk to anyone who attended in last year, and you will understand why you need to be there for 2009!
