2009 The 2008 event was the 6th Annual and for 2008, we stepped back to the "epi-center"
of the world's LED industry, focusing on the material, epitaxial and device
technology market as it relates to the LED and laser diode industries. Attendees
heard from the LED suppliers' vertical market, from leading manufacturers and
developers of advanced materials and processes, to device technology and fabrication.
As always a primary goal of the event was to continue to promote the underlying
technology that is critical to the rapid deployment, acceptance, and mainstream
market adoption of solid state semiconductor light emitting technologies and
